Erin Casperson has spent over a decade living and working in the Kripalu School of Ayurveda in the Berkshires of Massachusetts. From student, to intern, to teacher, to Academic Coordinator to Dean, she has dedicated her existence to accessing the truth of who she is and guiding others on this path. She is an Ayurvedic Health Counselor and a 500-hour Kripalu Yoga teacher, Ayurveda Yoga Specialist and 500- hour Ayurveda Yoga Teacher.

As a lifelong student Erin has continued her studies in Ayurveda both at Kripalu and in India. But her greatest teacher is life. The opportunity to show up again and again and again. She sits in the inquiry of what it means to be alive, how to thrive and what it means to occupy space in this universe. Erin is deeply interested in how her relationship to self, others, and the planet bring about revolutionary change. What Erin has come to most appreciate about the practices of Ayurveda, yoga and mindfulness is the inquiry into how simplicity of daily practices done over long periods of time generate enormous internal transformation.

A passionate, heartfelt, witty and enthusiastic teacher, Erin loves sharing how the ancient practices of Ayurveda can be applied to modern-day living. A student of planet earth and the universe, she spends as much time outdoors as possible. From walking the path in her back yard, gardening, mowing the lawn or navigating the Berkshire woods. Erin invites herself and others to develop awe and wonder of our natural habitat. When not geeking out on Ayurveda or tromping around New England with her dog and partner you will find her in the kitchen, reading a book, taking rest or finding a spot in the sun to keep warm.
